Apparently we are excellent parents because every spring we clean up the pond have way to many koi. Selling koi was supposed to be my husband's project but I may have to let him go or put him in charge of something else lol
Three years ago we gave away over 150 fish, mostly local, but I am concerned that some people may not be responsible fish owners and release them get into the ecosystem. The Wolf River goes through our county and empties into the Mississippi at Memphis We keep the best ones the rest get buried in the hole with a new or transplanted plant. That way at least they do not die in vain.
