Yay! You had good luck w/Burgess? I've never ordered from them. Do all elderberries produce edible fruit? I have two elderberries.. a variegated & a "Golden". The Golden is in the back yard.. poor thing is always being squashed by my dogs or dug up, but it perseveres! The variegated is in a full-shaded area.. it was supposed to get no bigger than 4' and the darned thing is almost 7' tall! I'm digging it out this spring.. dunno where I'll plant it, though! :(

Oh, and since you've brought it up that your garden's underway, make sure you take lots of "before" photos so we can see the progress! I *love* seeing before/after pictures!
