you will need to build a rectangle box to go up the wall and line it with a rubber liner there are several ways to attach the fake stone but construction adhesive is my go to on anything hard to do that you want to stay and not fall off . liquid nail cant be beat . i think they make another version of it for masonry as well . but the regular works with pretty much anything . here is the fake rock i am talking about
