pliers, bread knives ...my favorite gardening tool has become my saws-all or reciprocating saw. it is handy for cutting through tree roots where I want holes for shade plants and trimming out the odd branch.
mm, an interesting thread would be what tools we have re-purposed for gardening chores - any takers?
