Lynn what is the time difference in 'Purdy's Big Red'? I'm asking because of the color change,it turned such a pretty red.Is it the closer it got to hot weather or is it getting closer to cold weather in the last photo. They start producing babies in the spring correct, when does it stop producing them? Do they produce babies over a certain period of time then stop or slowly start in the spring & continue until ______?

Was that question clear?I know i asked it a couple different ways trying to be clear.

I wish one or more of mine would produce like that!!! Green Grin! That is a gorgeous plant nodding Hurray!
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
