First time when I see this plant. And I found only one in a wild area, in Victoria, Tx city.
The flower in the the strong sunlight it appear to be like white but has some pale blue or rather purple color (sometimes it is difficult to appreciate the real color)
Photos taken on 23 March, 2013, Victoria, Tx.
Habit tall less one ft.
Leaves lobed ; pictures of the same leaf, both sides
Flower
It has a second flower stem (spike) but with flowers not open yet (only buds)
Spike stem hairy
I suppose to be Delphinium carolinianum ssp. virescens, (Carolina larkspur, Prairie larkspur, Plains larkspur) http://www.wildflower.org/gall...
