Paul I spent all winter going through catalogs looking at parentages trying to get a plan of action for this spring and plan some specific crosses, but hard to tell what will be blooming at the same time and if they will have pollen, I tried to pay attention in Oregon on what plants seemed to be good parents and what some of the kids looked like on what was marked and I have high hopes for some of the newer Ghio stuff.

Mary Ann Thanks !! I was just as surprised when I opened the paper towels and found roots, some had grown all the way through the paper towel I hurried down the street and got them potted thinking it might be a problem but they took right off as you can see from the pictures, I will update this every couple weeks with pics if there are some major changes in them the next thing I am curious about is how long before we have a bulb, I think that will be the next thing I am looking forward to seeing as of yesterday all of the 4" pots had germinated and I still had some new ones showing up in the 8" pots so after 6 weeks or so they are still coming on strong.

Dee Thank You for your help I am excited looking forward to walking my own beds and seeing my own seedlings for the 1st time does not matter if they all are duds it is a fun process and I am enjoying it. Just gonna try and use the best plants I can and hope I can get something different.
