Getting back to my roots,(roots what roots) Hilarious! I thought maybe i could go down back where the leaves have never been raked or messed with in anyway that i know of and rake back the newly fallen leaves get up the ones underneath they are already mulch and full of worms.Cover my roots with decayed leaves, strips of newspaper and a bucket of worms keep it wet especially this summer. In no time i will have good dirt.I will just have to keep adding leaves as the worms do their job.

Someone said they did this and i apologize i looked up this page & it's not on here & i don't want to loose what I've typed by going back further but the person who came up with this idea or told me they done it & it worked, how long did it take before you started planting in your new soil?

Chelle, you were the one with this great idea. When i clicked finished i went back & looked then came back & edited my post!! If only i could put the little guy jumping up & down clapping hands or waving his arms whatever it's doing.
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
