Ted, I would think it needs bright light, here in NJ I am thinking as much sun as possible, especially in Winter.
I had to look it up too, Bepi is Brassavola x Epidendrum - both are bright growers, so I would think the x needs similar conditions.

A good fit for Jim's OC!
