By the way thats Rosa Eglanteria (Sweet Briar Rose) canes there on the left.
The bush is about 7' tall, fountain shaped.
A large-growing antique rose, this native to the British Isles was a favorite of Shakespeare, who wrote of it back in the late 1500s. The single pink-with-white-center flowers are wonderfully fragrant. Even the foliage smells sweetly of apples, especially when damp with morning dew.
