Supertunias are hybrids and might be worth trying.
I've never had much luck with Petunias.
After their first flush and once the weather gets hot they peter out.
Not these Supertunias!
They are still blooming here and did amazing well even in a window box.
If you have a place with some morning sun and shade during the afternoon they might do well for you. Just don't let the soil dry out real bad.
