Toni, it will do just fine where you live. So much so in fact, that you might want to grow it in a raised bed or somewhere where you want to keep it forever. I say that because a friend in western WA. grew some on the edge of her vegetable garden, and pretty soon she had way too much of it and was struggling to control it.
