Our normal for today is 71. It's 45, cold and raining. We are going to warm up this weekend but we've had nearly 30 days way below normal this year.

My daylilies are atleast a month behind last year. Like everyone said, last year was a record for warmth here. It was warm but still it was cool enough that I had fantastic seed pod setting. I just hope this year isn't like it was in 2011. That year it was cold like this, then we had maybe 3 weeks of what I call warm weather while the daylilies grew and set scapes. Then about the time the blooms started, it got up to 95 degrees and pretty much stayed that way or hotter all during bloom season. I set about 10% of my crosses that year. So, I sure hope we don't have a repeat of 2011.
