They are actually Scrub Jays (like a blue jay but scrubbier Rolling on the floor laughing ) and they get into everything else ... Dog food, cherries etc and I know they bury acorns in the beds. So I guess they are the most likely suspects since we have no squirrels and the new bed soil has no worms. Last night I replanted semps and first thing this morning a bunch were uprooted again! Angry
