I may not have stated this before but I do think the reason my semps have colored up so well is that I stressed them a bit! So yes, I do think you can get positive results through keeping them from getting too comfy! (I know this sounds mean - I guess I'm Igor Jr!) Sticking tongue out

Patty Lynn posted a link to Young's garden talking about crested forms, and they say there is no known way to create these crested types! I think if there were, nurseries would be intentionally making them for those of us that want them! nodding According to the link there is no known reason for why some of the semps crest, and that some varieties tend towards this than others. (If I were better at remembering which thread things are on, I'd share Lynn's actual link, but I'm not that good...sorry!) Hurray!
