I disagree with you 'Gardenglory'. Maybe several very popular lilies may sell at an overpriced level historically on James site on the LA, but when you consider the retail price the hybridizers are quoting for the same plant (SF), the savings are between 30% - 50 % from James. Now that may vary according to each auction. I have always found JH's plants to be healthy and very large fans. I have been buying from him for several years. No complaints, whatsoever. And he and his wife are very pleasant people to work with. About 90% of his listings for his Spring Sale start at $2.00. The most coveted lilies start at $20.00. Still, no matter how you cut the pie, I for one am glad to save the extra money these days, and thankful for sellers that give us that opportunity. And he sends great bonus plants, from his own hybridizing program. I just wish he would take Paypal. Maybe NOT!! That would be very dangerous for me. Rolling on the floor laughing

Natalie...you are probably on the road today, driving back to Utah. But tomorrow over your second cuppa of coffee, just for sheer entertainment, turn on that super speedy internet connection around noon, and watch James Hall end of auction. I'll wave to you from my mountain top here in Vermont.
