The chicks are now about a month old, almost all feathered out. We let one out experimentally and she immediately scooted through the fence for a rather lively 30 minute chase. A favorite pastime is 'Worm Wars" -- I dig up several worms and put them in the coop then watch them chase each other around making all sorts of noise. Pretty entertaining.

The viewing screen on my camera wasn't working and the shutter was delayed, so these were literally point-and-hope shots. I think I must need new batteries. The gray/black is the most curious (Mojojojo), the white one is Karen, and the one with the topknot is Bubbles. Other than that, I'm clueless who goes with what name, even though I have it written down. Some are getting pretty interesting color.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
