I'm glad the plumbing problem has been resolved. Now if only the rest could be dealt with as easily! Hilarious!

I'm going to say one thing & I think you already know it.:
You can't save them all. Some things are beyond our control no matter how well intentioned we may be. I know you have to try but you also have (had) a life & you can't nor should you sacrifice yours to save theirs. They made choices as you pointed out & they have to live with the ramifications of those choices. The babies are innocent of course but the moms are not. I know they've had a rough life but so did you. You LEARNED from that & went forward & did your best to suck it up & make something of yourself. They need to do the same.

Still, I laud you for the sacrifices you are making. Just make sure you are not sacrificing yourself in the bargain.
