Just cover the seeds with vermiculite or fine potting soil. They prefer cooler temps to germinate, too, 65 to 70. I've seen recommendations to chill them for a week or so first, but I didn't and they came up fine for me. Don't let them dry out, but don't let them get soggy or they'll rot.
