I've only visited the Keweenaw peninsula once. I had the pleasure of watching the sun set twice on the same day, once in a harbor, and once from a ridge high above Lake Superior. It's beautiful country when it's well thawed out!
I could not have left my roses for even three days in early summer; they'd have died of drought. But now that the monsoons are here, they seem to be okay without additional water. Rained all day today. No BS yet.
