Lynn, you are correct so has a handful of pea gravel from the bed she thinks looks better outside the bed.She has been walking about a month so she has a lot to do!!! Hurray! Hurray! She pets the semps, she takes one finger & pets each leaf, which is better than my DGS who removes all leaves. Whistling Whistling

I was specifically think about how to give that stump a boost.I did empty a watering can of superthrive over it.Maybe that will help, the Sedum just seems to be growing a lot slower than whats in the bed.But it's a stump, the tree was cut winter before last so no decaying material yet.I added compost around it and over it but we had so much rain from Dec.-Feb. that i think 3 months of rain could have washed away a lot.I was hoping it would get well enough established to remove the rocks around it. It died back this winter something i didn't realize it was going to do,that may make it difficult to accomplish what i want.Maybe if i added an evergreen Sedum ground cover it would have growth on it in winter & both in summer. Is one of the darker ones like 'voodoo' or 'dragons blood' an evergreen or do they all die back in the winter.

I would like to make this a part of the bed.
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
