Yes, that's a Bradford Ornamental Pear. Supposedly it has brittle branches. But this one has been in my front yard for 19 years now, and not one single branch has ever broke off of it. And we get some hairy old monsoon storms with winds reaching 60-70 mph. I love this tree. I find it gets more vibrant red and orange leaves when I give it a dose of Chelated Iron every spring.

Most of my family lives in Durango, CO. I remember how bad it was in 03. They had lots of forest fires around them too.
