Wow, Mike. That's an impressive list. They will continue to look terrific in the morning mists and dews!

My roses have been soldiering on despite the occasional light frost. Each Hermosa has a small flower. Secret has been nursing its first flower bud for, I think, eight weeks. It formed, then bambi ate all the leaves, then it made more leaves. And the bud is still there, weeks from opening. Mons Tillier has a bud, too. And Malvern Hills made its second golf-ball sized flower ever. Rise 'n' Shine is growing like mad. And Apricot Nectar looks good for the first time since it was planted eighteen months ago.

I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. I guess I need to plant more mums to protect my roses from frost. I've really been doing a bad job of providing protection.
