The red one is 'Taboo', a florist rose. The buds are black, and it opens to that deep, velvety red. It's similar to 'Mr. Lincoln'. I've never been able to get it in a picture, and of course I took that shot in full sun. The heat and winds are trashing all of my plants, and they just extended the red flag warning till tomorrow evening. I'm just leaving my potted plants where they fall, after 4 days of this. Sigh.
