I'm interested in this question, too. Though the two I have lost to crown/root rot this last year are one dip and one tet, the tet seemed to perish much more abruptly and dramatically. Though both plants had been doing well, once they started failing the dip held on a bit and seemed to improve at least a bit before succumbing. Maybe those double genes are part of the equation ... if/when rot sets in the tets may have a more marked or rapid demise?
