Marilyn, it was me but I've been using the lighter frost cloth on my semps between 12pm and 4pm because of the heat and sun. I don't have the altitude exposure (what's your altitude? I know Denver is 5000+ft) but semp bed is in between 2 houses and it gets really hot in that "alley". If semps are located near windy conditions, I opt for shade cloth because it is heavier and won't blow off the plants by the gusts. Of course some people have these covers all rigged up...like Lynn...
