Thank you, Jtell! All great info. We take advantage of our wild edibles too, just today we were out nibbling the Briar (Greenbriar Smilax Bona-nox). Grew up chewing on the oxalis (we called it sour grass) maybe that's why I was inclined to eat the dirt, I needed the minerals.
I love how you have used violets and (delicious) purslane as a ground cover under your plum trees.
