I started seeds of Lizard, Thundercloud, hispanicum, and a couple of others this year. I use 1/4 Promix, 1/2 sand and 1/4 vermiculite to start them, and just sow them on top of the soil. Like everyone said, the seed is like dust, but it does germinate. I tried to take photos of my sprouts, but they're too tiny for my camera to capture well. I grew populifolium (I think I spelled that correctly), Voodoo and Turkish Delight from seed last year and they start off small indoors, and take off when they're outdoors in actual sun and heat. I use bottom heat when I germinate these.
