Orchids
Im not left with much to anticipate but growing some more nice plants. give me sometin to do Whistling

I had to repot this one as it got knocked over and out of its clay by a freakish ice storm. I managed to get it inside before it got too many leaves damaged. The thin leave ones didnt take a hard beating like the fat leafed catts did.
Got this tree fern pot hanging around so I put this encycliia tampensis in it. Buried the roots down into the tree fern. Wrapped some sphagnum around it then attached that with a floral wire around the base of the moss. Then back down thru the tree fern effectively attaching it. It doesnt wiggle Hurray!

plant has 15 spikes and i hope they make it ya know..

Its a few years old and has about 25 bulbs so it should be established enough to make it thru this bloom season. You can see some of the leaves damage and might need a few bulbs removed afterwards but for now just a new home

Ive mounted a rhyncholaelia glauca in one like this also in the same way. I had to cut some bad bulbs off this one already. They got broken and these are good about putting out 2 new ones when it loses one. I was happy to cut a few off this one. They are strong good growing small plants that bloom easily when matured. This plant should dig right in and make the tree fern part of the roots.

I like the way these are all natural growing mounts and we see how these plants do in them. I like them!!
