Reverse Distinction is a new one from Mitsch Daffodils. Grant Mitsch sort of invented that pattern and this is the newest of those from that line. I am using this type to make Y-P (yellow perianth, pink cup) and had some nice ones boom this spring. Perrydale is a Y-P but a sort of patterned one. I didn't set pods on these bulbs but I did use their pollen. It looks as though I have in excess of 300 pods (probably 3-4K seeds!!) on the daffodils this year, Too bad it takes 4-5 years to get them to bloom. Just imagine what the daffodil patch will be in '18! Better get a seat now!

By the way, most of those irises are Pacific Coast Natives but the white/ yellow bicolor is a miniature dwarf bearded (MDB). This MDB has better form than most of that type.

Am so glad you all got to visit the garden. We were a little between seasons. If the season had been late the daffodils would be at peak and early the irises would be at peak. I'm gradually learning the seasons here. Much different than I experienced in MA or MS!

Kevin
