I repel them with a fence. But so far this year, I have seen no deer. The penstemon blooms on the front slope above the road are safe so far. I kind of miss them, but hopefully they moved to a place that has more food for them.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
