Angry!
This is the second spring that the tree peony buds just wither and dry up and ... they're gone!
On both plants. Separated, about 15 meters from each other.
In early spring these buds looked really promising. They are all dried up.
The plants themselves look really healthy...
I think one is still looking rather green, but kinda soft to the touch.
WHAT is wrong with them?
Early spring was too wet and too cold and about 2 weeks ago it became super hot and dry. Could this be the case?
But in the city, about 10 km away, I saw two big tree peonies covered in soft pink blooms!
