The third time is a charm??? Here's hoping you will not get such late frost next year. Or, now you can prepare for it next year and string the old fashioned large bulb Christmas lights on the tree peony. That is what I do for my Meyer's lemon and it has worked beautifully for years. Not sure you can get clear Christmas lights where you live. The smaller bulbs and LED ones are not effective.
