That's what I was thinking, why I asked if they need full sun to bloom. Maybe I'll try a few here and there, different locations. See what works, if anything.

I had a gardenweb friend who grew them in eastern WA, somewhere near Spokane. Hers seemed to bloom most of the summer. And she said her summers were hot and dry.
