Well, I lost two daylilies. Both of them I planted last Spring. I never even got the chance to see them bloom. 'Sir Francis Drake' just dried out, and 'Roseate Stained Glass' completely disappeared. Breaks my heart. The weird part is that most of my 10 month seedlings are thriving. I have noticed that some of my 3 fan clumps planted last year have been reduced to 1 or 2 fans. All of my dips are doing quite well. We have been blessed with days of warm sunshine, and temps in the 70's. Well above normal in Vermont for this time of year. I just received my first 2 boxes of plants today. Hooray. I ordered 'Can't Touch This' (Nicole) from Mary Gaskins this past Winter, and that arrived today. Mary sent me one of her seedlings as a gift plant, 'Mardi Gras Ball X Carol Todd", along with a picture of the plant. Gorgeous. It will be a 2014 introduction. Also, received 4 very healthy plants from Michele (Tink) today. At long last, my 'Dragon Fly Dawn' is here. Hurray! Thank-you, Michelle.

Mary Gaskins has a new website for her seedlings. http://gaskinsseedlings.simple... She mentioned that she has over 2000 seedlings this year as a result of an early Spring.
