Interestingly enough, my bed of 2 year old seedlings went all went dormant this winter (they seemed to be an even mix of dormants, SEV's and EV's last winter. I thought last weekend I had lost several, but by yesterday all of them had started to green up - although I may still lose a couple of them due to this batch of cold wet weather

I am sure I lost a couple of daylilies - one was a gift that I was excited to get Sad A couple of others are struggling, and this may be their death knell.

I am sad about the digitalis & poppies. And my stemless evening primrose. Many were first year plants, but some of the digitalis were not. I am not "glad" to hear that you also lost some Sandy - but it helps that I was not the only one in the area to do so. These plants were mulched, and covered with several feet of snow throughout most of the winter, and I still lost them.

No leaves on my trees here either - although my lilac is trying to.

On the other hand, I am glad I don't live further north in Wisconsin - YIKES! Some places got 17 inches of heavy wet snow. I was feeling optimistic yesterday, when I prepared and "packed up" my snowblower for the season. And I have a new lawn mower being delivered today.
