Cindi, if Burling doesn't carry them, she should. They're her kind of rose. She even carries Euphrates, a hybrid hulthemia that's much harder to find.
We are in a perennial drought here as far as gardening season is concerned because there's never any rain between April and November, so I wouldn't know how to garden without hours of watering each day.
Sorry I failed to respond to some earlier posts. Mike, I wish you could come back in May sometime. There really isn't much to see in February -- just the bones. This year Carol (AlohaHoya) and Jane (DonkeyJay) were here the week after you, and they saw nothing but the bones too. We need to have a big garden party here in May.

Nery, I grow Cocktail as a shrub, but it wants to be a climber. I've never really noticed the thorns.
