didn't know that bit re: striped roses. would certainly explain why my O&L has only had puny orange blooms. I bought it b/c I saw it at the Tyler Mun Rose Garden in all its glory.
I had a R&R I got at WM and it died on me w/o warning. It was planted in full sun, and now that I think of it, the variegation was good. But a mute point, as no longer w/us.
