Rita, I always plant at least three zucchini. I get poor fertilization if I don't plant enough. One year I only planted one plant, and ended up pollenating it by hand with a q-tip. Not fun - zucchini are prickly! I went Friday and bought my veggie plants. I got one pot of the green zucchini and one of the yellow. Each has three seedlings in.

I was going to try the Beefmaster after hearing you rave about them. But, they only had them in 6 packs and the plants were tiny. I have no one to give the other 5 to. So, I got Park's Whopper for the one hybrid. All the rest were heirloom. Know your not a fan of them. I like pink, green, and purple heirloom tomato flavor best. More mild, i guess. They don't have good disease resistance though.

They also had Juliet, which I remember you remarking on. I did not have Internet connection at the nursery, so could not check what you said about them. I see on your list you planted 4. I didn't get one since I could not remember.
