It's in the 40s again this morning. I went to look to see what may open today and the blooms from yesterday look like today's blooms so it stayed pretty cool all day and night. Oh well.

I will say it's not looking good for seeds this year. Out of my 300 or so plants in the hybridizing area I have 54 with scapes and most of those are a good 3 weeks away from blooming.

I have more scapes than that in the few new intros collections I bought, but of course they came from down south where they got a head start. The only problem with them is they are not opening very well at all. The late freezes we had pretty much damaged all the buds. Not to mention we are having bud drop on some.
