I bought that big Phal last fall, Ted. It had dropped all its flowers, and was on the sale rack at Lowe's in the blazing sun. But it had big leaves, and a few were not shriveled so I took a chance.

So probably 6 months at most. In fact, here's a pic of it right after I re-potted it in mid-November. It had a ton of soggy moss crammed around it, and perked up almost right away. The new blooms are on the same spike it had then.
