Planted the Lavender Jewel & 2 Smokeys on Sunday. Leaving the two Grey Dawns in their pots until they get a hair bit more robust. One of the Grey Dawn has a few leaves, but the other is completely barren of leaves. I got a note from Burling about this.. she stated that she removes yellowed / yucky leaves before shipping. But as long as the canes stay green, they should be OK.
Should I feed them a weak mixture of some kind of food to encourage growth? They got rained on last night
and probably again today (watching storm clouds building outside my window.. my view is to the south & my house is to the southeast, so it should be raining at home). The radar shows a massive storm coming up north.. probably gonna rain for a couple of hours at least! Finally!!!
As far as feeding, I was thinking of a weak mixture of MiracleGro or a 1:1 ratio of AgeOld Organics. Any ideas?
