Sylvia, Won't give you plant names because I think it would be easier for you to take one pot of your semps and go to any store/nursery and put your pot next to a sedum that may appeal to your pretty eyes. Pick out what looks good in color and think size scale because the holes are big and don't know whether pot is really big. Like I said, look at what's available and what looks good with your semp color. That way you aren't running around looking for something you only have a name for.
Also if the sedum chosen is a cascading type (and some will do that just by growing and having nowhere else to go but down and out) your terracotta sides might get covered so vine on top is not necessarily needed if you were putting it there for that cascading/covering up purpose. Of course if you have a beautiful vine in mind then don't worry about sedum on long stems in the pockets. You can pick a more compact one. Here's some of my sedums in my pots:
Lastly, the top could be treated like a separate container planting. You could connect with the pockets by definitely including the pocket semp type on top and plant around that but that semp would be only one element of your overall planting on top.
