So true, Calin. Not worth taking a risk. But a local nursery here ships those plants all over the world, if you were really determined (and wealthy enough) to have one.

Tropiflora is where I got mine. www.tropiflora.com Their site's worth a look just for the fantastic selection of bromeliads they carry.
