Expecting a low between 28 to 31 tonight. I have all of the hostas covered with old bedsheets and pillow cases and some light flannel blankets. Hope all will be well and won't get as cold as they're predicting. I would hate to see damage done to my hostas, but I'd also hate to see the flowers on the lilacs and other flowering plants freeze tonight. Just when things are looking good, the stupid cold air comes to ruin it all.
