OK. I will tell her.
Sorry I was out of office for a while.
Anyway returned to find a huge battered box. Looks like it was in the steerage of the Titanic.
But I found orchids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THe one in the clay pot was intact and perfect; no damage.
THe leaves were really hard like they were adept at braving the element s (read sun)
Two were intact with all the roots wound around tightly andthe last one in the plastic pot seemed to have suffered the most as it was loose in the media. It seemed to have been losing some of its roots from before and the journey did not help, but no worries...I can put him in intensive care for a while, and he will be as good as new.
Thanks a lot.
Now I will go to the PO for the MO and mail to you. I have your address.
Sorry they are all gone. I also was waiting to receive these to see what they were like, and maybe get some more; we are disappointed.
Hope you have a good voyage.
BTW, I am from that part of the world you are voyaging to. So I hope you keep well and safe on the high seas.
Thanks a million
