Nice looking plants. You actually are acclimating your plant to full sun, without realizing it. This time of year, the sun is still further south and the rays are not nearly as intense as they will be by mid-summer. I have dozens of schefflera (I propagate and sell them) and I can tell you from many years of experience, IF I have grown my plants in indirect light and then put them outside in full mid-summer sunlight, they will sunburn and drop leaves. I am in NE Mississippi, but the same would surely happen in S. Florida or the Northeast, just different sun intensity at different dates. Ken
