January Freeze in Colombia Likely to Mean Even Higher
Prices and Lower Quality for Valentine's Day Roses;

Cold Spell Damages 39% of Colombia's Flower Production!

'The president of industry body Asocolflores Mr Augusto Solano Mejia has said that the current cold spell in the country has devastated the cut flower production in the Sabana region, at a time when the flowers were nearing the Valentine harvest season. He said that almost 30% of Colombia's ornamental flower crop has been affected and there are genuine concerns...."

Even in years with good weather, florists typically double or even triple their prices for cut roses in the weeks leading upto Valentine's Day. Why pay what will likely be even higher prices than usual (and possibly for lower quality roses) that last only a short time in the vase and then are gone? Is it really worth paying the equivalent of two tanks of premium gas for an SUV when you can give the gift of rose blooms season after season for far less?

Ain't She Sweet
$19.95 plus shipping*

* Take advantage of our incredibly low shipping costs -- just $10.70 for up to five rose bushes, sent anywhere in the Continental U.S. by U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. You may, of course, include any of the roses from our website in your order to maximize your savings on shipping costs.

Start a new Valentine Day tradition and show her (or him) your love with the gift of live rose bushes this year! We've carefully selected a group of some of our favorite roses (led by Ain't She Sweet from Weeks Roses) that produce gorgeous blooms that are perfect for cutting and enjoying in a vase. We'll be happy to send a Valentine's Day certificate by email that you can print out and present on this special day, and the rose bushes will be shipped in the spring. As opposed to roses purchased from a florist which will be gone and forgotten in a week or two, these own root rose bushes will be a source of great pleasure for years to come!

This very special "Baker's Dozen" of Valentine's Day roses may be viewed and purchased by clicking here: Valentine's Day Roses

We have very limited quantities of these gorgeous roses available for spring shipping (for example, only 33 plants of Ain't She Sweet), so be sure to get your order in soon to avoid disappointment!

Happy Valentine's Day!
