It depends on how far apart the pavers are.I am not strong anymore and have trouble getting a hand trowel into the stuff.
Weeds dont seem to have any problem.I tried to reset a piece but couldn't manage ir.
I had the stonesand re done this spring. It does settle and wash out a little bit over winter.
