I love Lavender Lassie and it blooms beautifully in the shade.
Pickering has now changed the date for fall orders from August to early September. This is annoying, but it's also a really good thing. Every year I order roses from Pickering and then scream when I later find the same things on the Palatine site. I'd much rather pay a few dollars more and buy plants from Palatine, but they usually start taking orders after Pickering does. This year, however, Palatine will start taking orders on September 1st, so I'll choose from there first and then check the Pickering site for roses Palatine isn't offering.
